ASAP Sitters: Your Schedule, Your Way
01 — Complete the application
Start by filling out our online application form. Share some basic information about yourself, your babysitting experience, and a short video introduction. You’ll also upload a clear photo and write a 5-7 sentence bio. If approved, your bio and photo will be featured on our website and social media to help families get to know you. In the application/ interview process we require you to submit
A valid ID for verification.
Proof of certifications such as First Aid or Lifeguard training. (If applicable)
02 — Background Check & Set Hourly Rate
After successfully completing the interview, you’ll submit:
A background check (There is a $25 fee required, which is refunded after completing 10 jobs). **This may be waived if you can presented a valid teachers license with your supporting documents and it is verified by the State board of Education.
Next, set your hourly rate based on our guidelines ($25–$40 per hour). Your rate will appear on your ASAP profile, you may have a 5% increase or 10 dollar fee for multiple children and families will pay you directly.
03 — Set Your Availability and Start Babysitting
Update your weekly availability in our calendar to let families know when you're free. You'll receive job requests and have 24 hours to accept or decline, ensuring smooth communication. Enjoy the freedom to set your schedule and keep 100% of your earnings!
Note: We ask our sitters to commit to participate in at least one team event every two months, some of which are virtual for convience. These events give families the opportunity to connect with you and build trust. Additionally, we require sitters to update their availability weekly to ensure we can efficiently serve families and the community. Your dedication helps us maintain a reliable and supportive network!
